British authorities have not been able to provide the Euratom inspectors with precise data.

I should now like to devote the remaining minutes to the Euratom specific programme.

Ever since 1984, in the context of the Euratom treaties, we have been trying to regulate this subject.

To conclude, I should like to make a historical point regarding Euratom.

However, as everybody knows, the Euratom funds are not subject to proper transparency and accountability.

The maximum Euratom contribution was set at 50% of a project's cost.

I am in favour of the Euratom loan scheme continuing.

It is also about funds from the Euratom programme.

It is high time that the Euratom Treaty was revised.

We need an equivalent of the Euratom Treaty for renewable energy.

I would like to make a final observation regarding the Euratom Treaty.

Can the Commission explain the steps taken by Euratom to resolve these problems?

The aim of the Euratom Treaty is to promote nuclear energy.

So the way the Euratom programme is managed is unacceptable.

Yet today's vote on the Euratom programme has endorsed follow-up funding for nuclear research.

The granting of Euratom loans for new nuclear power stations cannot be accepted under any circumstances.

Our citizens are telling us that the Euratom Treaty is not working, so we should listen.
