A Site Acceptance Test Plan was undertaken to determine whether or not the system was working properly.

The radar achieved the Site Acceptance Test on Feb. 24 and was commissioned March 5.

The radar passed its site acceptance test conducted for the Indonesian air force in February, a statement by TRS said.

The equipment was installed and a Site Acceptance Test Plan was obtained to show the equipment was functioning properly.

"The radar proceeded smoothly through a site acceptance test in August and now is being used by the Bahrain Defense Force for air surveillance," the company said.

On Site Acceptance Tests are scheduled for completion in September 2004, way ahead of the RADARSAT-2 launch date.
