Promina Group formed after the "demerging" of the Australian and New Zealand operations of Royal & SunAlliance UK in 2003.

After the demerging of Weingarten the district is made up out of the boroughs 611 Haslach-Egerten, 612 Haslach-Gartenstadt, 613 Haslach-Schildacker und 614 Haslach-Haid.

Ownership of the operations license for the site was subsequently transferred to DNO in 2003, followed by Lundin in 2004 before the demerging of Lundin's UK assets in 2010, when EnQuest became the operator.
