The eastbound side of the motorway will be reduced to a single lane overnight for two nights, between 8pm and 6am, from Tuesday 9 June while work is carried out to replace road markings and reflective road studs.

The work, which also involves replacing reflective road studs and painting new road markings, is expected to last for around 16 weeks.

A project is taking place to replace lane markings and reflective road studs along sections of the M65.

Other work includes installing new road markings and signage at laybys, footpath widening, and installing reflective road studs.

Contractors will also install new reflective road studs, replace road markings and carry out repairs to 2 bridges.

The southbound entry slip road at junction 2 will be fully closed overnight for two nights from Monday 14 March also the southbound carriageway will be reduced to a single lane for the same two nights for road markings and the replacement of reflective road studs.

The closures are for road markings and the replacement of reflective road studs and will take place between 8pm and 6am.

Sections of the A66 between Long Newton to Teesside Park will be closed overnight, between 8pm and 6am, from Friday 12 June until Friday 3 July while work takes place to paint new road markings, white lines and replace reflective road studs.

New reflective road studs and road markings will also be installed during the overnight work, which is due to be completed by Friday 28 November.

As part of the scheme reflective road studs will be replaced and road markings will be repainted.

Reflective road studs may be used with white lines.
