The trainer for both challenges was Craig "Sawman" Sawyer, Navy SEALs instructor and former sniper.

Craig R. "Sawman" Sawyer (born 1963) is a former Navy SEAL, sniper and combat instructor.

Note, though, the different approach, in light of section 173 of the Constitution, in Hansen v Regional Magistrate, Cape Town and S v Sawman.
