In 1869 he joined the Bavarian Academy of Sciences.

His collected works were published in 1897 by Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities.

In 1759, he was appointed member of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences.

In 1937 The Bavarian Academy of Sciences named him a corresponding member.

In 1875 he was named a member of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences.

In the same year he was appointed a member of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences.

In 1927, he was selected as a corresponding member of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences.

He afterwards worked from the Bavarian Academy of Sciences until his death in 1950.

These reasons would not, in themselves, involve the severing of my relations with the Bavarian Academy.

In 1985 he was accepted into the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities.
