Big Content isn't concerned with copyright infringement, their only concern is making money.
You have to admit, though... Big Content is pretty hot.

The whole talk is worth watching (it's 37 minutes) if you want to better understand Big Content's copyright perspective from one of its top practitioners.
I sort of have a feeling this whole lobbying effort by Big Content is only half the story here.
In its announcement, the company laid the blame for the new policy at the feet of Big Content.
Apple will be hard pressed to match any of that unless they line up Big Content's support.
The people have spoken and they are choosing not to be robbed blind by Big Content.
So basically Big Content wants you to feed criminals.
