March 23, 1822 - Bishop Fenwick arrives in Cincinnati on horseback.

In 1827, Bishop Fenwick opened a school in the basement of his cathedral and took to the personal instruction of the city's youth.

The incorporation restored the name of the early college and seminary, founded by Bishop Fenwick in 1829.

A seminary had been founded by Bishop Fenwick in the Athenaeum, which stood near the cathedral.

In 1842, he deeded the grounds and building to Bishop Fenwick, who placed it under the care of the Jesuits.

From 2007 - 2008 Bishop Fenwick had a record setting running back.

Tyler was ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Fenwick on June 3, 1829.

On the same day, Bishop Fenwick called a meeting of the Catholic citizenry of the Boston area.

Henni was ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Fenwick on February 2, 1829.

On either side is a martlet, reminiscent of those on the ancestral crest of Bishop Fenwick.
