Malgonkar was born into a royal family, and educated at Bombay University.

He is an honours graduate in Science from Bombay University.

He represented Bombay University between 1941/42 and 1946/47.

He is a professor at Bombay University and has written many books on Ayurveda.

He was the vice-chancellor of Bombay University from 1960 until 1963.

He gained his matriculation from Bombay University at the high school.

Later I discovered he had been educated at Bombay University.

In 1936, he passed metric exams from Bombay University.

The college was granted formal recognition of Bombay University on 30 January 1869.

He attended various boarding schools before attending the Bombay University in 1942.
