She was temporarily detached to serve on the China Station in 1926.

In 1899 she was assigned to the China Station.

She served on the China Station between 1906 and 1913.

From March 1915 she was again on the China Station.

Ocean served on the China Station for five years, 1867-1872, without docking once.

Foxglove served on the China Station during the early 1920s.

She spent her whole career on the China Station and was sold in 1916.

They entered service in 1929 and were based at first on the China Station.
