Cliff Drive runs alongside the river, and is joined by U.S. Highway 41 and Michigan Route 26 about a mile and a quarter southeast of Phoenix.

Cliff Drive, in Kessler Park on the North Bluffs, is a designated State Scenic Byway.

Later on a house called the Beacon on the corner of Beacon Road and West Cliff Drive was also bought.

These are Cliff Drive, Pebble Hill, South Park, English Bluff, and Beach Grove.

Atop the cliffs, the edge of Smiths Hill mass, is another path and Cliff Drive.

The northern boundary is Lavigia Hill, which rises north of Cliff Drive; some of the oil wells were drilled on the southern slopes.

Remains of the mansion were cleared and the stone was used to build the retaining wall on Cliff Drive.
