In the National Capital Region of Canada the Crystal Garden international invitational ice-carving competition starts every February, as part of the Winterlude winter festival of Ottawa.

"Crystal Gardens: Dale Chihuly's Glass Environments at Longhouse," an outdoor installation, will be on view from June 23 through Sept 8.

Confederation Park, better known as Crystal Garden, is the site for the ice sculpture competition, the ice lounge and musical concerts.

She is a Third Degree Wiccan High Priestess of the Georgian Tradition, and founded the Coven of the Crystal Garden in 1986.

Pier Park is a landscaped area outdoors on the upper deck, between the Crystal Gardens and the Pepsi Skyline Stage.

Not far away, buyers are moving into two more developments, Crystal Gardens and Macedonia Heights, sponsored by church-affiliated nonprofits.

The concert begins at 6 P.M. and will be followed by a reception and a closing celebration of Dale Chihuly's glass environments, "Crystal Gardens" (329-3568).

In 2011, it was released as "Crystal Garden" accompanied by additional tracks from the same recording sessions.
