Mr. Mitchell noted that a Democrat wrote the bill, thus establishing title to 58 new death penalties.
He predicted a successful filibuster against legislation to revise campaign financing, for example, saying Democrats would write a bill to help themselves, not the country.
Democrats scratched out the word "right," and wrote in "nuts."
"Mr. President, your leadership is critical to preventing this from happening," the two Democrats wrote.
If the extra money is available, Democrats wrote in their letter, it should be used to provide more comprehensive drug benefits.
"Instead of cleaning house, you simply rearranged some of the furniture," the Democrats wrote.
"Democrats, more often than not, tend to be liberal on a whole range of issues involving social tolerance," he writes.
"Mr. President, simply staying the course in Iraq is not working," the Democrats wrote.
A few Democrats have already written the President off, however.
Democrat and Chronicle wrote: "this collection of 14 pretty old country classics works much better.
