The Dow average moved up a third of a point, to close at 1,846.82.
The Dow average closed up 2.23 points, to 3,282.42, another record high.
The Dow average finished the week with a gain of 303.91 points, or almost 4 percent.
The Dow industrial average ended 45.80 points higher at 5,705.23, its first close above 5,700 in nearly a month.
The total impact of the five programs may have added 2.72 points to the Dow industrial average, they said.
In all of 1986, the Dow average had gained 22.6 percent.
