Sama Dubai is practically the international property arm of Dubai Holding.

In April, Dubai Holding agreed to provide the national team with Dh20 million (US$5.45 million) sponsorship money over the next four years.

In June 2011 Dubai Holding sold 14% of Axiom Telecom.

Dubai Holding announced in May 2013 to team up with another real estate developer to resume The Lagoons project.

It is a joint venture between Tiger Woods Design and Tatweer, a member company of Dubai Holding.

Dubai Holding (a Middle-East based private hedge fund) have since taken over the sponsorship.
