Especially in demand are buildings along a six-mile stretch of the Dulles Toll Road from Reston to the airport, where signs can be attached to buildings that are visible from the highway.

After it opened, non-airport traffic between Washington and Reston became so heavy that a parallel set of toll lanes were added on the same right-of-way to accommodate non-airport traffic (Dulles Toll Road).
