He currently plays for Edinburgh Rugby in the Celtic League.

At the end of the 2006-07 season, Andy left Ulster and moved to Edinburgh Rugby.

Outwith these commitments he is available to play for Edinburgh Rugby.

In 2008 Hamilton signed a three year contract with Edinburgh Rugby.

He then joined Edinburgh Rugby in 2007 and has been there since.

He left Edinburgh Rugby at the end of his contract in May 2011.

In April 2012 signed with Edinburgh Rugby for two seasons.
