The Entrepreneurship Center led by Michael Goldsby is a top ten entrepreneurship center nationally, and offers a minor in entrepreneurship.

The Entrepreneurship Center is funded with a gift from Pembroke native and Los Angeles commercial real-estate developer Jim Thomas and his family's foundation.

He has helped form and served on the Advisory Board of the Entrepreneurship Center at UC Santa Barbara, where he was an Adjunct Professor from 2003 to 2010.

Finally, the SEAS-based Technology and Entrepreneurship Center at Harvard (TECH) sponsored its first university-wide entrepreneurship competition.

The Cyberport also houses one incubation facility for ICT startups called Entrepreneurship Centre providing office space, financial aid package,training, micro fund and network access to the investment community.

The Deshpande Center partners with the Entrepreneurship Center to select high-performance graduate-level student teams, or i-Teams, that evaluate the commercial feasibility of five select research projects each semester.

Dr. Edward B. Roberts, chairman of the Entrepreneurship Center at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, agreed.

The identification of this need led to the creation of the Entrepreneurship Center.

Bell also was an adjunct professor at the Global Entrepreneurship Center of Florida International University, where he taught graduate courses in Entrepreneurship.

In 2007, the Rice Alliance was recognized as the Top Entrepreneurship Center in the U.S. for Enterprise Creation by the Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers.
