Fiji Water has re-opened its bottling plant in the Pacific island nation, after backing down in a battle of wills with the military government.
Fiji Water came under fire in 2006.
In December 2008, Fiji Water laid off 40 percent of its staff due to weakening sales.
However, after threats from the government to give the well to another company, the Fiji Water announced its intent to resume operations and accept the new tax levy.
Fiji Water has also established a foundation to provide water filters to Fiji communities, many of which lack access to clean water.
The site is to be protected in a partnership between Fiji Water and Conservation International.
They also bottle Fiji Water there.
Fiji Water - could be moving out of Fiji for tax reasons.
