The 10.0 release retains its ability to put a picture in the background of any Finder window.
The resize performance in all the other Finder window views is also improved.
It's fast in 10.1 too, and therefore so is Finder window resizing.
The minimum height of Finder windows is also constrained, although to what, I'm not sure.
The smallest possible Finder window appears at full size below.
Unfortunately, you cannot have a different toolbar for each Finder window.
Repeat for any other Finder windows you're interested in.
A similar zoom effect can be seen when opening files from the desktop, or within a Finder window.
