The camera also imposes a hard maximum clip length of 29 minutes 59 seconds if the 4 GB limit has not already been reached.

The advantages are easy JPEG image extraction, no motion compensation artifacts and low processing power enabling higher resolution, and the disadvantage is a larger file size, nearly reaching the 2 GB limit (for full compatibility) in 5 minutes.

Paging and swap space can be used beyond this 4 GB limit, due to it being addressed in terms of disk locations rather than memory addresses.

The second highest package which has a good speed but still a 125 GB limit which would suffice I suppose, though costs 70$ plus router plus tax around 80$ ???

With this, files larger than 4 GB can be split up into multiple extents (sequential series of sectors), each not exceeding the 4 GB limit.

The VAST majority of users don't get anywhere near that 2 GB limit, and probably appreciate the $5/month they're saving by not being on an unlimited plan that they never would take advantage of.

I currently have mobile broadband (with a 12 GB limit per month), but I don't think I will even use a couple of gigs a month.
