"I've been struggling and going through some swing changes," Gay said later.

Gay said, "The numbers reflect the overall trend in publishing where the majority of books published are written by white writers."

"I won't be such a coward any longer," said Gay passionately.

"I feel so old," said Gay, looking particularly young and piteous.

"He made it his business to have something for everyone," Gay says.

"Anyways you won't go running off without a needle valve," said Gay.

There was strong competition between the two, and Gay later said that his sister's quick reaction time inspired him to improve.

"The women do most of the work," Gay said.

Gay again finished second and said of Bolt "It looked like his knees were going past my face".
