The Guild of Air Pilots and Air Navigators awarded the entire flight crew of Flight 1549 a Master's Medal on January 22, 2009.

The Guild also awards a Fellowship Diploma (FGC M) in conjunction with a four-year full-time course in church music at Goldsmiths' College, London.

In November 2006 The Editor's Guild of Mexico awarded him with the Premio Juan Pablos al Mérito Editorial, a lifetime achievement recognition for 26 years of working as an editor and mainly for his work in creating the publishing house Artes de México, a leading cultural project in the Americas.

The Guild for Religious Architecture Conference Exhibition awarded Nezhnie a merit award for Genesis in 1969, as well as honorable mentions in 1971 and 1972.

In 1988, the Guild awarded him a special award for outstanding contribution to the guild.

In 2002, the British Guild of Travel Writers awarded the Documentation Center with an award for Best New Overseas Tourism Project.

The Guild of Embalmers and Allied Trades had awarded him medals for it.
