Hammond Edward Fisher (September 24, 1900 (some sources indicate 1901) - December 27, 1955) was an American comic strip writer and cartoonist who signed his work Ham Fisher.
According to the recollection of Fisher's friend Morris Weiss, "What Ham Fisher did was to take a lot of L'il Abner strips that were suggestive.
To date, Ham Fisher is the only man ever convicted of "conduct unbecoming a cartoonist".
