"It's a negative attitude to take in that situation," the Knick coach said.

"We have to take them out of the things they do best," said the Knick coach.

No Knick coach has dared talk like that in a few years.

"I haven't seen a guard get off against us like that in a long time," the Knick coach said.

"We just didn't want him getting comfortable out there," the Knick coach said.

Most drafts have that kind of player, the Knick coach said.

And he is trying to use some of that same psychology in his rookie season as the Knick coach.

The Knick coach just didn't know how difficult it would be.

"The most important thing is the here and now," the Knick coach said.

"Our press was the best it has been all season," said the Knick coach.
