Lord Hunt, at the recent Parliamentary Review, raised the issue of "proportionality," and "not the only problem in the world."
The son of Lord Hunt, a junior health Minister who quit his job over the march, was amongst the students in attendance.
Lord Hunt says if the Lords wants something to happen, it happens.

"I'd have loved to have got to the top," Lord Hunt said later.
A view echoed by Lord Hunt who had made the original recommendation for the formation of the force.
According to Lord Hunt, 'decisions on the technical side don't affect the services on screen'.
He said: 'Lord Hunt will be looking at these and many other areas in which we expect there to be a lively public debate.'
Lord Hunt was appointed Chairman of the Commission in October 2011.
