Thirteen businesses, including Met Life, have signed up for the center, she said.
Individual life insurance sales at Met Life fell about 40 percent, to $657 million.
It remained the home of Met Life until 1970 when the company moved to a new building to the south.
She has worked at Met Life for the last seven years, starting as a secretary.
But we also want the ads to begin to remind people why to do business with Met Life.
"The reason you come to Met Life and get paid is because it's a strong company," he said.
"I don't think the country today remembers what people knew years ago," he added, "how substantial a company Met Life is."
She would not say whether Met Life had any plans to change the building's name.
There's already a Met Life, a fine building, goes back about a hundred years.
He said Met Life would like to liquidate its investment in the company at the right price.
