Mr. Men is a series of 52 children's books by Roger Hargreaves started in 1971.

He was the last of the new Mr. Men to speak for the first time, which he did in "Travel".

Mr. Man bought the dogs recently even though he knew their size violated city regulations.

Mr. Man said he wanted dog owners to organize to force the city to change the rules.

"Before about five years ago, we had never seen a car," Mr. Man frankly admitted.

"I got this tattoo in 1944 because all the other people did and, besides, it looks pretty nice," Mr. Man said.

But Mr. Man was on to another topic.

"When the Americans were here, it was pretty peaceful," Mr. Man said.
