Ms. Keys, it would seem, was born to succeed, and she's kept on doing so.
Ms. Keys spent most of the evening sitting next to one of the speakers, making an interview difficult.
Like a time machine, the track deposits Ms. Keys where she wants to go.
She said Ms. Keys "deserves to be on the committee.
"It just hit me like a rock over the head," Ms. Keys said.
Although she doesn't play down her good looks, Ms. Keys takes pains to present herself as a musician first.
"They stood in the middle of 20 smiling 4-year-olds like it was an empty room," Ms. Key said.
Ms. Keys, however, told us she was game for "one great question."
"Getting the order right has been a bear, but we're ready," Ms. Key said.
The show with Ms. Keys, whose career has soared this year, was better.
