The village is at the intersection of New Hampshire Routes 109 and 153.

The highway becomes New Hampshire Route 150 upon crossing the state line.

New Hampshire Route 12 and an abandoned railroad line follow the river along this section.

New Hampshire Route 26 follows the stream for its entire length.

New Hampshire Route 11 parallels the river for most of its southeasterly course.
