Norm Sloan, the Florida State coach, removed his entire team from a hotel when two players reported smelling marijuana coming from an adjoining room.

Norm Sloan, the school's 63-year-old basketball coach, retired Tuesday after his employers accused him of improperly paying a recruit's airfare.

Patrick Aaron, a 6-5 sophomore guard, was sent home by Coach Norm Sloan for disciplinary reasons.
