The star of the Order of St Patrick is used by the Irish Guards.

Women were never admitted to the Order of St Patrick; they were not eligible to become members of the other two orders until 1987.

In 1831 he was made a Knight of the Order of St Patrick.

The same year, on 20 August 1821, he was also appointed a Knight of the Order of St Patrick.

He was made a Knight of the Order of St Patrick in 1909.

On 3 November 1807, he was appointed a Knight of the Order of St Patrick.

He was promoted field marshal on 25 May 1895 and received the Order of St Patrick during 1897.
