He may be a force for disaffected Republicans, like Perot voters and people who are angry with the party.

Republicans have nothing more to offer Perot voters than the Clinton Administration did.

"No wonder the Perot voters are upset," he said.

No doubt some of them are former Perot voters who would otherwise have voted Republican.

"The great majority of the Perot voters really want to make some fundamental changes in this country," he said.

We've all but licked the budget deficit, so come home, Perot voters.

"The Perot voters' biggest item is the deficit, and now we're able to make that an issue."

What about the Perot voters of 1992, who are, by definition, the largest swing-voting block in the country?

And the Perot voters who are looking for a home ought to take a look at the Republican record.

"Our challenge was to convince the Perot voters to come out and vote," Gingrich said.
