Brown began his managerial career while with Poole Town, becoming player-manager during the 1986-87 season.
However he made a comeback in 2006, when he signed for Poole Town.
He later became a coach at Poole Town before returning to Christchurch as manager.
He then took charge at Poole Town, who had just released all but one of their first team squad.
He joined Poole Town on the 4th November 2010.
Later he took over as manager at Poole Town in the Southern League.
For his next club he made 44 appearances during 1965 to 1966, he had also had a short spell with Poole Town.
