To the Editor: I read the Practical Traveler column "Train or Plane to Boston?"
To the Editor: The Practical Traveler column about thieves who steal credit card numbers (March 28) was a timely one for our family.
The Practical Traveler column on July 21, about nonrefundable airline tickets, misstated two policies of Northwest Airlines.
So the question was pursued by the Practical Traveler column to see if answers were really scarce, or merely hard to extract.
The Practical Traveler column on May 8 reported that hotels increasingly appeared to be stretching the truth about their locations to incorporate the names of better-known communities nearby.
To the Editor: I am a longtime single traveler, and enjoy the Practical Traveler column.
Mr. Grimes originated and wrote the Practical Traveler column, a weekly collection of travel advice.
To the Editor: The Practical Traveler column on Oct. 25 discussed trip cancellation insurance.
To the Editor: Just a note to Betsy Wade for 14 years of super Practical Traveler columns.
