They moved to the stadium for their 2008/2009 season in the Premier Soccer League.

The 56ers also have a team in the Women's Premier Soccer League that started play in 2010.

To avoid fixture congestion the club's franchise was sold to the Premier Soccer League in 2002.

The Premier Soccer League sell the naming rights of their competitions to a title sponsor.

By the end of the 2006-07 season, the club also managed to win silver medals in the Premier Soccer League.
