"There's an unexpectedly high share of workers still in agriculture," Professor Taylor said.
Professor Taylor, now 86, only recently stopped teaching law at Columbia.

"I was shocked by that," Professor Taylor said, referring to the language used.
"The exhibition has become timely in a way no one expected," Professor Taylor said.
Professor Taylor does not worry that free access to translation services will dampen a student's desire to learn languages.
Professor Taylor said the two spoke as recently as Monday night.
"It's hard for even the black community to comprehend," Professor Taylor said.
