The Qatar Foundation is continuing to talk to other top universities about setting up programs in business, engineering and information technology, although it will not name them.
Each of these universities was selected by Qatar Foundation to offer specific degree programs, mostly in disciplines for which the schools are particularly renowned.
All costs for the development of this campus are paid for by the non-profit Qatar Foundation.

Student housing is managed by Qatar Foundation and shared among the Education City campuses.
