The 24-year-old Brazilian has had a strange career, with spells in Qatar and lower-division Spanish football before playing for minor Rio clubs.

They are playing in Botafogo's stadium, which is kinda hated by fans from all Rio clubs because its terrible location.

He worked briefly for an architect in the 1940's, but after hearing Duke Ellington and other American bandleaders perform in Rio, he decided to become a musician, performing in the small, crowded Rio clubs known as "inferninhos," or "little infernos."

On the national and international scene, Botafogo is often confused with the Rio de Janeiro club with the same name to the extent that the Rio club is often credited with being the infamous club against which Pelé scored a record 8 goals in one game.

Leo Moura's time for the Rio club seemed to be at an end in 2011, as he was hinted to join SC Internacional.

That same year, he moved to Vasco da Gama, where he campaigned as the Rio club demoted to Serie B in the Brazilian Championship.

Paulo Nunes, however, won the 1990 Copa do Brasil with the Rio club, the 1991 Campeonato Carioca and finally the 1992 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A.
