Blackie and the Rodeo Kings are a Canadian folk rock/alternative country band with blues and country influences.

Their name was taken from Bennett's 1978 album Blackie and the Rodeo King.

Blackie and the Rodeo Kings have five full length studio albums and many awards and nominations under their belt.

Colin Linden: Guitarist/ Producer for Blackie and the Rodeo Kings.

Gary Craig: Drummer/ Percussionist for Blackie and the Rodeo Kings.

He is also a member, with Stephen Fearing and Tom Wilson, of the group Blackie and the Rodeo Kings.

The title track is a re-recording of a song from Bennett's 1979 album Blackie and the Rodeo King.

The record was coproduced by John Whynot, who has worked with Fearing on numerous Blackie and the Rodeo Kings albums.
