It is, well, because in order for that to work, the server must support SSL connections.
Then the request for a specific page is sent through the established SSL connection.
But we would like to have an SSL connection for privacy's sake.
But you have to be in the machine that is on your end of the SSL connection anyway.
I would like to see better technology for managing our SSL connections.
And sure enough, SSL connection, green bar, everything all happy.
And they'd have to be able to do all that over, even though we were using SSL connections for the transaction.
The system will force you to be over an SSL connection.
And so the point is, with normal SSL connections having a life of a few minutes, you've just never seen this happen.
The only good news is that SSL connections are still safe.
