It also created the Saturn brand to produce small cars.

After only mild success for three seasons, the Saturn brand would get its final wins this season as another blow to General Motors in the series.

Although in 2009 GM decided to discontinue the Saturn brand.

"The Saturn brand is one that we're incredibly high on," Mr. Cervone said.

Production of the 2010 model year Vue ceased in 2009, following the closing of the Saturn brand.
