The Senator replied that while the ethics office clearly had not "lived up to their duties, you have fallen short, too."
The Senator replied that, if such was the President's decided wish, he would offer no further opposition.
Asked what their reaction was, the Senator replied, "A lot of deep disappointment, starting with me."
The Senator replied, "I don't think one can just give the back of one's hand to such a thought."
"The temperature is the same outside as in here," the Senator replied bluntly.
"I fail to see any evidence of that," replied the Senator.
"I think people are going to be smart enough to understand that this was explosives," the Senator replied noncommittally.
The Senator replied that the board had always performed well for itself.
"Son," the Senator replied without looking at him, "you've already started."
"Yes, I was there for a moment," the Senator replied.
