Immediately, the senator wrote to ask that the choice be withdrawn.

"It is time for the world to stop all nuclear weapons tests," the senators wrote.
The senator wrote language for the new budget bill that rolls over the authorization into 2007.

The Wellstone campaign decided to keep broadcasting one 30-second television spot, which the senator himself had helped write.
"It is untenable to deny children an education," the Senators wrote.
The senator wrote an address on a slip of paper and gave it to The Shadow.
More than 60 other senators have written similar letters since 1994, but they have not voted to change the law.
