This was the beginning of the 481st Tactical Fighter Squadron.

During the Vietnam War he served with the 555th Tactical Fighter Squadron.

At the same time the 7th Tactical Fighter Squadron was temporarily unmanned.

Later he was given command of the 334th Tactical Fighter Squadron.

After graduating he was assigned to the 55th Tactical Fighter Squadron.

It also hosted the 614th Tactical Fighter Squadron at Doha.

When it first arrived in May, the wing contained the 35th and 36th Tactical Fighter Squadrons.

In September, the 80th Tactical Fighter Squadron replaced the 36th.

Squadrons assigned included the 35th, 36th and 80th Tactical Fighter Squadrons.

It was ordered consolidated with the 141st Tactical Fighter Squadron.
