"Unseen Treasures: Imperial Russia and the New World," whose opening this weekend was postponed because of shipping delays in Russia, is now expected to open in late November and run through Jan. 16.
Special admission for "Unseen Treasures," $10; $8.50, students, the elderly and groups of 10 or more; $6, children under 12.
PERHAPS it's just as well that "Unseen Treasures: Imperial Russia and the New World" has arrived at the New Jersey State Museum more than two months behind schedule.
For "Unseen Treasures," that museum, along with the State Archive of the Russian Federation, has sent more than 350 items from a collection of 4.5 million, some of which have never been exhibited before, even in Russia.
Like any other blockbuster these days, "Unseen Treasures" has its own shop, filled with seasonal gift-giving possibilities.
The theme for Goa Sand Art Festival 2011 is "Marine Life - Unseen Treasures under Water".

So the museum is planning its first official blockbuster, "Unseen Treasure: Imperial Russia and the New World," to open in September.
"We want the people who come to 'Unseen Treasures' to see what wonderful collections we have," Ms. Sloshberg said.
