Winnebago County is the name of three counties in the United States:

Boone County was formed in 1837 out of Winnebago County.

Winnebago County voted in 1842 for annexation to Wisconsin.

Winnebago County, the most populated county in the district, is home to one of the state's largest cities - Rockford.
