In all, the museum collection includes about 900 paintings, 1,500 drawings and more than 400 black-and-white photographs.

The museum also contains exhibits of the 20th century, about 10,000 photographs and 1,500 drawings.

Since there are only about a dozen drawings by him in the United States, the show will give visitors insight into his working techniques.

There are about 850 different drawings at the site.

"I think it was worth about a million drawings."

They will be displayed along with about 300 drawings in 18 rooms.

Petersen left about 60,000 drawings and 100 paintings of varied quality.

"I must have done about 600 drawings for 12 pairs of shoes," he says.

He left about 6,000 drawings which were all drawn from the life.

Between the ages of two and four, he produced about 400 drawings and paintings.
