When liquid has been absorbed add the next 3/4 cup.
Let sit for 20 minutes, until the liquid is absorbed.
Lower heat, cover and cook until the liquid is absorbed, about 20 minutes.
Turn off heat; cover and allow to sit for about 5 minutes, until liquid is absorbed.
When the liquid has been absorbed, add half a cup of the cream.
Simmer, covered, for about 20min until all the liquid has been absorbed.
Press down gently on bread, making sure all liquid is absorbed.
Simmer covered about 40 minutes, until the liquid is absorbed.
When no more liquid is being absorbed, allow the area to thoroughly air dry.
All the liquid should be absorbed and the fruit soft but still in large pieces.
