If the inspector is from a local authority you can contact the inspector's manager and ask for your complaint to be investigated.
You should start by contacting us again, asking for your complaint to be passed on to a more senior member of staff.
If, following our response, you are not satisfied, you can ask for your complaint to be referred to the Permanent Secretary of the Scottish Government.
If you are still unhappy, ask for your complaint to be referred to the Complaints Manager.
If you are not happy with the initial response you receive, you should contact us again and ask for your complaint to be passed to a more senior member of staff.
In this case, when you contact them you can ask for your complaint to be referred to a complaints handler straight away.
